It was quilted by Cathy at Eagle's Wings Quilts.
The backing is from the same fabric line...
As is my usual practice, I did the hand stitching in the car last weekend.
We visited Finn and my daughter last weekend. We took Finn to get his haircut as he was starting to look a bit shaggy. We went for lots of walks and spent an evening at the dog park where he ran around and wore himself out.
Here is what he looked like before the haircut.
I will be linking up with Kathy and the Slow Sunday Stitchers on Sunday morning. Have a great weekend!
I like that pattern and have had it on a list in my head to make for years and still have not gotten to it!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Karen 🔼. I've had this pattern on my Must Make List also. Yours turned out beautifully!
ReplyDeleteFinn's haircut looks great. Then again he always looks adorable. I really like that quilt. That fabric line is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI tried that pattern and got all twisted up--the pieces are still sitting in their box on my top shelf--;000
ReplyDeleteYours came out so beautifully--obviously no problems there! Finn is so cute prancing about with his new haircut!1 hugs, julierose
I love that pattern and gorgeous fabrics! Lucky person who is going to receive it. Finn looks half the dog he was after his hair cut! 😁
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt. One of these days....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt, love the colors!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful quilt. It works well in this scrappy version.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt!!! Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty colors, the green and purple together! Your friend will love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely quilt! It made me think that I don't use purple as often as I should!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo of Finn... did you notice the photobombing seagull in the background!??
Cathy did a great job machine quilting. A good feeling to have a pretty quilt completed.
ReplyDeleteLove all the purple in the quilt. Beautiful! I'll bet Finn felt pretty good after getting the haircut. We had to do the same last week for my hot natured shih tzu!
