On the 1st Day of Christmas...

...My true love gave to me...

...a Partridge in a Pear tree!

This is the latest block in Lorna's Sew Fresh Quilts Christmas Quilt Along.  Christine was over to sew last night so I worked on this block.  It took quilts a while to cut out all the pieces and I did not finish sewing the block until tonight,

Here is my collection of six blocks so far.

Even though I am sewing a Christmas quilt inside, my crocuses are blooming outside!

The daffodils are in bud.   Spring is here!

  3. They're looking great with the dark background too :-). Lots of pieces in this one and lots of matching! With my white background, it's very obvious if you don't match up the seams absolutely exactly LOL! Love the partridge.

  4. Your partridge and pear block is so cute, as are all of your blocks. Yes, spring is here - we have robins singing away early in the morning. So nice to hear.
