After a good night's sleep, I decided to fix the yellow friendship star so it matched the spinning direction of the pink one. I sewed these two blocks together already and like the way they look beside each other, both spinning in the same direction.
This morning, I made "Farmer's Fields". I have a limited supply of the light fabric in my fat quarter bundle so I decided to use pink for the background of this block. I am almost half way there now for this sampler quilt! Still a few challenging blocks coming up!
